Rex Black re-elected as ISTQB president

Mr. Rex Black, the President of Rex Black Consulting Services, Inc., has been re-elected president of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB). He is one of the most distinguished software test experts in the United States.
Erik Van Veenendaal of the Netherlands was re-elected Vice President. Horst Pohlmann from the German Testing Board is the new Treasurer and Chris Carter from the Australia/New Zealand Testing Board is new Secretary.
Representatives from over 30 national testing boards cooperate in the ISTQB to set up the global standard for the training and certification of software testers. More than 50,000 people have already been certified according to the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level standard.
