New Working Party Chairs officially Elected
In its last meeting at Zuerich, Switzerland, on March 18th, 2008, the ISTQB General Assembly elects new WP Chairs and ViceChairs for the different Working Parties (see: http://www.istqb.org/working_parties.htm ).
In addition, two new boards have joined the ISTQB:
- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Software Testing Board (KSATB)
- and the Irish Testing Board.
Now Representatives from over 38 national testing boards cooperate in the ISTQB to set up the global standard for the training and certification of software testers.
On the Expert Level Improvement of Test Processes is the first module that was active by end of years. The General Assembly votes in favor for the decision that test automation and test management are the next modules after implementation of the module "Improvement of Test Processes".
More than 80,000 people have already been certified according to the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level and Certified Tester Advanced Level standards.
