Advanced Level Syllabus that consists of three separate, distinct syllabi for Advanced Test Manager, Advanced Test Analyst and Advanced Technical Test Analyst.

"standard glossary of Testing terms", version 2.2. The glossary uses the principle of backwards compatibility as much as possible, this version can be used today by all stakeholders and formally replaces glossary version 2.1.You can download the new glossary version 2.2 here and read the Press Release for more details.

As a consequence of the Agreement signed in March 2010 between UKTB and ISEB, the ISEB Practitioner qualification scheme has been phased out and the two ISEB Practitioner exams (Test Management and Test Analysis) have been withdrawn from the 1st February 2011. ISTQB® have defined a Grandfathering scheme between the ISEB Practitioner certificates and the ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level certifications that is explained in details in the attached Mapping Document.
UK Testing Board (UKTB) has signed an agreement with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT which promotes qualifications for professionals. The agreement will see the two organizations working more closely together to promote and support Software testing accreditation and certification internationally. UKTB will become the preferred supplier for the Institute's software testing exams at Foundation and Advanced levels in accordance with the international ISTQB® program.
New equivalence mapping between the ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level certifications and the ISEB Practitioner certificates also come into effect at this date.
The agreement will also see BCS working more closely with an increasing number of ISTQB® boards around the world. For more details, refer to the Press Release.
